At Ponderosa Kids Preschool, we believe that healthy meals fuel little bodies and big imaginations! Our talented on-site cook prepares delicious and nutritious morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea each day. From fresh fruit platters to wholesome sandwiches and colourful veggie sticks, every meal is crafted with care to ensure our little learners enjoy a variety of flavours while getting the vitamins and minerals they need to grow strong and happy. Lunchtime is a delightful adventure filled with tasty surprises that keep our kiddos energized and ready for fun!

Montessori Inspired Approach

Core Montessori elements are the foundation of the Ponderosa Kids Montessori Preschool Curriculum. Our educators are trained in the Montessori method, and our classroom has a full set of Montessori materials. The Montessori approach allows every child to develop naturally — to learn and grow at their own pace. Our Curriculum will also borrow from other pedagogies to learn, invent, and improve our ability to support every child’s development.

In our classrooms, children follow their interests and engage in hands-on activities using Montessori materials designed to meet each child’s developmental needs using scientific methods. This enhances a child’s physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and cultural development.
